National Secondary Competitions

What a week it was - July 25th - 29th 2016 in Heretaunga at the National Secondary School Kapa Haka Competitions. It was a busy week for Te Matatini as the team worked to promote our upcoming 2017 festival, Te Kahu o te Amorangi. The photo booth was a great hit with the rangatahi clocking up over 3000 photos in 4 days ! Thanks to all the whanau who joined our database and entered our competitions - special congrats to all those who won 4 day passes to next years festival. Special thanks to the committee of 'Te Haaro o te Kaahu', especially the chair, Tuhoe Huata who looked after us so well and ran an amazing event. We'd also like to thank Mana Tiaki rangatahi who helped out on the Te Matatini stall.
