This event celebrates 177 years of the Treaty of Waitangi. It commemorates a partnership between iwi and the Crown and the significance of Waitangi Day for all New Zealanders. Events include, ceremony for Waitangi Day, Treaty lecture series, kapa haka and multicultural performances, kiddies rides, food marketplace and sports. Family friendly, alcohol, drug and smoke free event for all. Zero waste. The emphasis is on fun, interaction and healthy lifestyle. Our feature entertainment is 10 piece award winning reggae band Three Houses Down.
