LIVE DRAW Te Kaea Maori TV 7.30pm 12 August 2010

Be watching TE KAEA on Maori Television this THURSDAY 12 August 2010 from 7.30pm.

TE KAEA will cross to Te Tairawhiti throughout the show to broadcast the Te Matatini o Te Ra competition draw LIVE.

Unlike previous years, teams will be able to view the pool draw in real time from the comfort of their living rooms.

Selwyn Parata, the Chairman of  Te Matatini, will draw the three pools for the 42 teams on LIVE television for Te Matatini o Te Ra February 2011. He will be assisted by National Committee members, a scrutineer, Te Matatini staff and representatives of the host committee, the Tairawhiti Cultural Development Trust.

Each pool will be randomly selected and contain 14 teams.  The top three teams in each pool will make up the 9 finalists that will compete in the finals on the last day of competition.

 

The official pool results will be available on www.tematatini.co.nz on Friday 13th August 2010
